One of my favourite hobbies is shopping, as you can probably tell from my previous blog posts.
I love shopping for clothes, shoes, bags, jewellery, books, home ware items, holidays, weekend getaways, food, presents, stationary, DVD’s…. the list is endless!
I thought I’d share with you some of the tools I use to assist me with this sometimes expensive hobby. Here are my top 7 apps for shopping.
1) Uni days
First of all I apologise if your not in uni/college/sixth form as you won’t be able to use this app, but maybe you have a friend or sibling you can steal this off. Uni days is like my hammer. It just knocks those prices down. All you do is choose which discount you want, redeem at and flash the person at the till your code. The best thing about this app is it’s FREE!! Unlike and NUS card which you have to pay for. Uni days offers discounts on all different types of things such as clothes shops, jewellery shops, spotify, sky, apple, restaurants and more. Go take a look for yourself!
Ebay is such a popular website which i’m sure you’ve heard of and the app is so amazing!! I definitely recommend this app whether your buying or selling as it’s easy to access when your out an about. It’s so helpful when your in the middle of a bidding war and you have to leave the house, you can just go on the app wherever you are and BID!! It’s also so easy to use for selling items as you just take a photo on your phone/tablet and upload straight to ebay
This is a good app if your wanting to buy new clothes or need a new outfit for something and you have no idea what to get. The app allows you to browse different clothes from all different clothes shops and create a set or collection. It gives you a link to each item so you can go ahead and buy them. The only warning I would give for this app is don’t fall in love with anything as it uses items that have sold out in places and also some things can be really expensive (I am speaking from experience)
This app is just full of discounts, it’s particularly good if your shopping for a holiday or a day out somewhere. The deals are changing all the time so if you seen one you like, buy it quickly!!! The app shows you how long is left on a deal and how many people have bough it. It’s definitely a handy little app to have just to browse occasionally and see what is has to offer.
Etsy is such a different quirky little website where people make things then sell them. It’s full of things you wouldn’t see in shops and it’s just so AMAZING!!! Someone bought me a peter pan necklace off there for christmas as i really wanted one but it’s not something you can buy in shops. I 100% recommend getting this app, you will spend hours browsing through all the different things it has to offer. It’s great as well if you need to get someone a present as it’s pretty cheap but the stuff is good quality.
Another really popular site, like ebay, but the app is so useful to have. I frequently go on there when i’m in a shop to compare prices as it’s usually cheaper on amazon, particular with books and DVD’s. Also it gives you the chance to buy things second hand like ebay. I just love it when I get a used book off there for uni for £3.00 when there £20 brand new. More money to spend on clothes! 😉
7) Clothes apps
For this last section instead off writing a little paragraph on each app I thought I’d just give you a list off all the popular clothes store apps as they all do the same thing, allow you to buy clothes!
