Last week I got to spend the week having a much needed break in Cornwall.
I stayed in Sennen which is next to Lands End, and is one of the quieter places of Cornwall.
There’s not a lot there but it’s such a beautiful place and really peaceful.
I go to Cornwall ever year with my family and it’s honestly one of my favourite places.
The weather wasn’t that brilliant this year so there wasn’t a lot of sunbathing involved, but I did get to go on some nice walks.
I visited Mousehoule which is a cute little village near Penzance.
If the name sounds familiar it’s because there is a book set there called The Mousehole Cat which I remember reading in primary school.
My dog came with us (Teddy) and he absolutely loved it!
He loves the beach and swimming in the sea. I could literally fill this post with pictures of him but I’ve managed to narrow it down to just a few.
I watched a play at the Minack Theatre in Porthcurno which is an outdoor theatre.
I’m not really a theatre person but it was pretty cool as it was all open and built into a cliff over looking the sea. You could actually hear the waves crashing in the background.
I also had a surfing lesson which was fun but hard. I really do not have very good balance. I spent the whole lesson pretty much falling off and nose diving.
I had such an amazing week and I can’t wait to go back next year.
Bye for now x
