Blogmas Day Three – My favourite things to watch before Christmas

I have a checklist of films and TV programmes, as I’m sure most of you do, that I always try and watch on the lead up to Christmas.

I like a mix of Christmas films and TV specials to really get me in the festive spirit and all excited about Christmas!!!!

So here is my list:

  1. The Gavin and Stacey Christmas special

I absolutely adore Gavin and Stacey and their Christmas Special is a must watch! The part were Smithy wraps his presents in tinfoil never fails to amuse me. I usually watch this

2. Home Alone

I’ve watched all three of the Home Alone’s, but the first is by far the best. It’s currently on Netflix which is a bonus as the only copy I own is on video.

3. How I Met Your Mother Christmas episodes

I am obsessed with How I Met Your Mother (who isn’t?), and I have to watch all their Christmas episodes. I love the episode where Ted makes an indoor Christmas light display for Robin, and also the one where Lily steals Christmas.

4. Deck the Halls

The ending is so cheesy, but its just such a fesitve film and I love watching it.

5. Elf

It has to be on the list, it’s the ultimate Christmas film. I love it whenever its shown on TV and my twitter is just full of Elf quotes.

6. The US Office Christmas specials

Another TV show I am obsessed with is the US office! I have a list of several tv shows that I could re watch again and again and never got bored. The US Office is one of those and I love to watch all of their Christmas episodes before Christmas. If you’ve never watched The Office, I highly recommend it. Micheal Scott is just the best character ever.

7. Christmas with the Kranks

If you’ve never watched it this its a nice family Christmas film thats funny and festive. Perfect to watch for a family film night.

8. Merry Christmas Drake & Josh

It’s overly cheesy but it’s Drake & Josh and I love them, and it has a lot of old faces in it.

10. The Santa Claus Movie

I know there’s several Santa Clause movies now, but the first one will always be my favourite. I was soo young when I first watched this and I always wanted to be one of the special elves that go rescue Santa out of jail. They were the coolest.

That is it for all my favourite things to watch before Christmas.

I actually can’t believed i’ve managed three days of blogmas so far.

I hope you liked this post, and I’d love to hear what you have to watch on the lead up to Christmas!

Bye for now
