Celebrating my 22nd birthday

It’s official, i’m getting older.

Last week I turned 22 but inside I still feel like a 21 year old.

Anyway this year I decided that I wanted to do loads of little things for my birthday, I wanted to try and see all my friends as they’re scattered all over the place.

My birthday kicked off with a surprise trip to Cardiff organised by my besties.

I’ve never been to Cardiff before and loved every minute of it.

We took a trip to Cardiff Castle, went on a boat ride and of course drank a lot.

I also visited the Doctor Who experience which I highly recommend, even if your not a massive fan.

I also spent a lot of time in a bar called Locke & Remedy who do the most amazing pizzas.

It was a very fun and very alcoholic weekend.

The next day was my Birhtday which I just spent with my family and of course my doggie.

I was so exhausted from Cardiff and working all Christmas that I just wanted to stay in and relax.

I did get loads of cool presents though, including an instax camera which I am in love with although the paper is so expensive.

On Tuesday I met up with some friends from home and we all went to Frankie & Bennies for a meal, I am obsessed with their spaghetti carbonara.

Then on Thursday I met up with Jay and we went to one of our favourite places, Revolucion De Cuba.

We also went to Gaslight and for a few cocktails.

On Friday I went out in Nottingham with some friends from home and school, and we went to Rock City.

They didn’t play any rock music, I was not impressed.

And I finished my birthday celebrations on Saturday where I went to Springwater for a family meal.

It’s an all you can eat Chinese and Cantonese restaurant but with a twist, and I am obsessed with it!

They do the most amazing smoked chicken I have ever tasted and it’s my new birthday meal place.

It’s a little more expensive than most Chinese and Cantonese restaurants but it is definitely worth a visit!

I hoped you like this post, I had such a fun time spending my birthday with friends and family.

I usually don’t plan anything and end up seeing no one but this year I got organised.

Bye for now
