What’s new for me in June

So June has definitely been a roller-coaster month for me.

First of all, I had to say goodbye to my flat which I shared with my best friend. We’d been living there for a year and I was really sad to leave.

The reason we had to say goodbye was because she is expecting a baby (I am so excited for her!) and I wanted to save some money, so I moved back home with my parents.

Two weeks in, and I’m just about managing okay, I get a little bored sometimes. I used to see my best friends on an almost daily basis but so far I haven’t seen them in weeks.

It’s been especially difficult these past few weeks, but that was mainly because of my whole job situation.

I was made redundant about two weeks ago, perfect timing I know, so now I find myself feeling a little lost at times.

I’m not terribly upset about loosing my job as I was unhappy there and it wasn’t a nice environment to work in, but still, it was good money and at least I was doing something.

I am still trying to stay positive: I am applying for jobs daily, I’ve been in touch with a previous job and picked some shifts up there and I’m getting to spend time with family.

It’s hard because I still don’t know what job I want to do.

This time last year, I was graduating from university and I still feel as lost as I did then.

Anyway, enough negativity, June hasn’t been all bad.

Moving home has meant I no longer have to stress about paying bills, having no food in the fridge and there is a bath! Oh how I have missed baths.

I get to see my dog Teddy who I love so much! I like to think I’m his favourite person.

I’ve also started working on my YouTube channel a little more where I’ve just been making bi weekly vlogs. They’re not brilliant, but I enjoy doing them and it’s keeping me motivated. You can see my latest one here.

I had to leave my gym in Derby but I’ve started running more now that I’m home, which makes me happy. I never used to like running in Derby as it’s so busy, but back home there’s more countryside.

I usually take Ted with me as well so he’s definitely glad back.

Anyway, that’s all from me for now. Hopefully next month I shall have some more positive updates.

Bye for now
