Movies I watched in July

I had a lot of free time in July which meant I watched a few more films than usual.

Some I absolutely loved and others, not so much.

So I thought I'd try something different and write a blog post about them because I love reading these kind of posts and I am always looking for new films to watch

Finding Dory

I've never watched this film before and I don't know why I waited so long. I loved it, perhaps even more than the first.

Baby Dory is just so adorable.

In this film we get to see old characters and new ones as Dory tries to remember where she came from.

Her back story is just so sad but it's also what makes this film so good

I cried, a lot.

I haven't watched this film in years and since it is now on Netflix I thought it was the perfect time to re-watch.

I am a huge fan of Marvel films and this one does not fail to disappoint.

I just love the part where Ant Man breaks into the Avengers head quarters and has a fight with The Falcon.

Paul Rudd was perfect for the part.

Miss Peregrine's School for Peculiar Children

I've read the first two books in this series so was dying to see the film. I finally got round to watching it and I have to say I was a little disappointed.

So much has been changed and they completely swapped two of the characters round.

Some of the key story line was there but it was lacking the magic that the book gave it.

The book is just so much better.

The Breakfast Club

I always see things about this film and decided to give it a try.

I did quite enjoy it, but found some parts a little strange.

The whole film is set during a Saturday morning detention with different people with different 'labels'.

It's funny, has drama and also some brilliant dance moves.

I wish I'd been that cool when I was in school.

I definitely recommend you give it a watch.

So I only agreed to watch this film because I knew Harry Styles was in it (even if his character is a little prick) but I actually enjoyed it.

I found it hard to keep up at some parts because the film switches to past then present, I also wasn't familiar with the history of what had happened which may have a helped a little.

However, it is a good film and just shows you what people had to go through.

It was horrible and it's also true which makes it all the more shocking.

War films aren't usually for me, but I'm really glad I watched this film.

And that is all for this post, I'd love to know your thoughts on these films.

Bye for now
