Signing back up to Birchbox

A few months ago I cancelled my Birchbox subscription as I was trying to save money and I wasn’t really using the products I was receiving.

However I was starting to miss it a little and when I saw the Oliver Bonus box design I decided to cave and rejoin again.

I do enjoy Birchbox but I found some of the products were getting a little repetative, I seemed to have a lot of body lotions and make up I wouldn’t use so that is when I decided to have a break.

Now they seem to have partnered up with more brands and I can’t wait to see what I receive in the next couple of months.

Here is what I got in my September Birchbox:

Polaar IcyMagic Instant Eye Contour Energiser

I’ve never tried anything like this before so was intrigued to give it a try. You roll it underneath your eyes and its supposed to make them look brighter and more awake.

I’ve used it a couple of times and it feels like your putting something cold under your eyes.

I’m not really sure if it makes me look more awake but I do work late nights so it will come in very useful.

Dr.PawPaw Original clear balm

I was really confused as to what this exactly was at first as it says you can use it on lips, skin and hair.

It’s feels like vaseline in a tube and it gives you a moisture boost.

I’ve had a cold for the past few days so I’ve been generously applying it to the sore and dry skin around my nose and it has definitely helped.

It’s full size is priced at £6.95 which is a bargain.

Very impressed with this product.

Beauty Protector

I was so disappointed when I saw I had this product as I had already received it ages ago and still haven’t used it all.

To be fair I have started a new Birchbox account so they don’t really have that on record.

You apply it to damp hair and it conditions, detangles, protects colour and minimises frizz.

It’s an okay product, smells nice but it’s full size is £18.50 and I just don’t think its worth that much.

ARROW Boost colour enhancing lip balm

This is a full size lip balm that hydrates and protects lips.

Its supposed to adjust to the Ph in your lips and give you your own unique colour.

It gives my lips a pinky twinge and leaves them feel moisturised.

It is a nice lip balm is perfect now that the cold Autumn weather is coming.

However it’s £11 to buy and I think that’s a bit to expensive.

Manna Kadar 3-in-1

This product is a full size 3-in-1 blush, highlighter and eye shadow, designed to give you an instant healthy glow.

It’s a rosey-gold colour, perfect for Autmn. It’s so shimmery and makes a really nice highlighter and eye shadow, however I’m not quite sure if it would be a good blush.

I can’t wait to experiment with it a bit more.

Overall I am very impressed with this Birchbox, I have already used a majority of the products.

Can’t wait until next months, I hope it has a Halloween theme!

Bye for now
