My May Favourites

It’s been a long time since I wrote a favourites post (or a blog post even), but I had a few things I’ve been seriously loving in May and wanted to share.

My first and my most favourite is this Kanken backpack from Ebay. I have a bit of an obsession when it comes to backpacks and I’ve been dying to add a Kanken to my collection but there is no way I could justify spending the ridiculous amount on one.

I saw a few bloggers on twitter talking about cheaper versions you could get on eBay so I thought why not give it a try.

It cost me around £12 and I use it everyday for work.

Beauty wise, I’ve been loving the Simple Hydrating Booster as my skins been feeling rather dry and dull. I use it as a base layer under my moisturiser.

Stila is a new brand which I am currently obsessed with but can be a little pricey, however the Beauty Outlet at East Midlands Designer Outlet has a little Stila stand right at the back and I picked up this Brulee matt lipstick for a bargain price.

Last but not least, I was rummaging around TK Maxxs’  chaotic beauty shelves and stumbled upon the Too Faced Cocoa Powder foundation. I think it only cost me about £7 and most importantly it smells like chocolate.

I’ve had a new found love for gin, in particular the Rhubarb and Ginger Liqueur from The Edinburgh Gin Distillery. It tastes so amazing with lemonade and I saw it on offer for £16 in Morrison’s so I thought I’d treat myself.

It’s sweet. refreshing and the perfect drink for summer.

The Greatest Showman of course has to go on here because it finally came out on DVD. I listen to the songs on a daily basis.

Finally, I’ve been really getting into podcasts lately and I found one on Spotify called Potterless and I am in love with it.

It’s about a guy who’s reading Harry Potter for the first time and he goes through the books chapter by chapter and discusses them with guests and gives his thoughts and opinions.

He has a real hatred towards Quidditch which is hilarious especially when he rants about it.

It’s seriously entertaining and has been getting me through my days at work.

Hope you have a nice June

Bye for now
